A few years back, my brother spent over a year fighting for his life in need of a full liver transplant, then through complications & a longer than expected recovery.

To stave off dialysis, (it was brutal last time & his kids shouldn't have to see him like that), he's in need of a kidney.

A fun thing about eating better and running is that while the scale obviously shows the weight I've lost this year, the thing I'm noticing most is that my ginormous Irish head, while still a pretty big Irish head, has lost much of its mass and I no longer look like I'm gonna constantly tip over.

I nixed both my Game Pass and Netflix subs in the last month and I'm thinking of hopping into DC Universe Infinite with some of that saved cash but I gotta wait till after my trip in two weeks but the irony there is I want to be able to read a bunch of comics on my flights.
