Also babies will die, bc across the mammalian spectrum, babies routinely die from failure to feed, maternal rejection (expect that to go up) & more problems. Breastfeeding rocks. But death follows when it’s the only way.

Also too: A lot of nursing moms have reported being hassled for nursing in public, such as on an airplane. (Airports now have some nursing pods -- but often 30 minutes walk from your gate, while your plane is boarding.) Or in a park. Or in a restaurant. Or anywhere at all.
