I use username "mike.ferdinando" because my name is "Mike Ferdinando."

Being able to use "firstname.lastname" as your username without having to append a bunch of numbers is one of the perks of having an unusual name!

Link Jabari got his account permabanned because Jay misread a post of his. Despite all evidence of no wrongdoing on Link's part, Jay will not budge on reinstating his account.

This also revealed that joining other instances on Bsky doesn't mean you can dodge Bsky moderation, as Link was on Blacksky

I have *never* liked to drink milk, even when I was a child. I certainly cook with it, and my wife puts it in her coffee. (I drink coffee black.) We rarely buy more than a quart at a time, it it very often goes bad before we use it up!
