Our daughter's new GP has insisted on changing her pain medication.
This has upset her even more than she was.
I can see the GP's POV because she was on serious quantities of opiods - prescribed by the hospital.
He's reduced the dose of the opiods and is increasing the dose of another painkiller […]

Our daughter has asked us to spend Christmas day at her flat.
This suits us very well.
I've booked an inexpensive hotel nearby in case getting home proves unsociable that evening.

Daughter 's old TV now installed in our front parlour (!).
