The worlds wealth is owned by a few and those living in absolute poverty are many. Capitalism has not worked. When education, health and social services are failing it is clear a new, more inclusive economic system must be found. Tax the rich, so no ones net worth exceeds 20 million dollars!

A way to combat the AI bogey man is to guarantee an income to those made redundant by it. Make businesses that profit from AI by sacking people pay a guaranteed income to those people it sacks. AI is capitalism’s best friend. You can’t wind back AI but you can wind back capitalism.

I have just read Stan Grant’s The Queen is Dead! It is a compelling account of entrenched racism and the damage, destruction and despair it has caused to individuals and races. It is wise and reasoned and full of love and sadness and anger. This is an important book.
