“What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see billionaires driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of Bill Ackman.”
I'm not sure this nickname will have the impact they think it will

I know all of my enemies are so stupid.

I know this because I read all their arguments in the stupidest possible way, proving they are stupid.

I interpret them this way because I know how stupid they are.

Because 2025 = 45² and 45 is a triangle number, we get these lovely sums:

2025 = (1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9)²
2025 = 1³ + 2³ + 3³ + 4³ + 5³ + 6³ + 7³ + 8³ + 9³

Pleasingly the next triangle number 55 is 10 more, so get ready for a repeat of this fact in the year 3025.

Yes, nothing really matters in the end.

But people sometimes forget that things matter quite a lot in the beginning and the middle.

All of statistics and much of science depends on probability — an astonishing achievement, considering no one’s really sure what it is. 🧪

Why probability probably doesn’t exist (but it is useful to act like it does)

It's cool how we just find ourselves existing with no explanation, meaning or purpose. And then, luckily, just as we get old enough to grasp the dread of having to bear the weight of creating the meaning of our own existence, we are given the meaning to our lives at work (creating shareholder value)

Last Christmas a member of my team gave me this book. As a result, people think that I'm a nice and reasonable person.
These people show promising potential to improve in forming ideas and opinions.

Word of the day is ‘quafftide’ (16th century): the season for drinking. Also a pithy way of declaring that it’s time to relax.

Works for hydropots (water drinkers) just as well.

Pick any fraction you like. Write down any two starting values, then extrapolate a sequence such that each value times this fraction is the average of its two neighbors. Congratulations, you have invented the sine wave. It is a grade school arithmetic concept, just like the Fibonacci sequence.
