When I was a teacher, my students and I always took time this month to honor the generations of Black Americans who fought against injustice to achieve equal rights.
May we all reflect on our past as we continue working to build a society that lives up to its democratic ideals.

It turns out most signatories weren’t real doctors, or were doctors who had their licenses revoked or suspended.
