im in my family home catsitting and trying to work from here is an ordeal. i, uh, legitimately forgot how clingy pepper is. this cat wants to snuggle ALL THE TIME. and i am 100% at fault for this because *I* was the one who brought him up this way!! this is on me!!

the reason why jayce doesn't take viktor to council meetings or important events with Important People attending is because he looks (and acts) like disappointed cillian murphy through all of them and he's only gotten worse over the years. prove me wrong

jayce should've died when the AH grabbed him by the throat on the way to the top of the hexgates but he doesn't. and when viktor does decide to offer jayce the glorious evolution his touch is very gentle. delicate. personal.

mage viktor does this, too, with perfect jayce. a very gentle touch . . .

in game terms i'd say AH and his puppets all have. deathtouch. they can/do oneshot everybody & hexcorize them instantly.

so it's really nice of viktor that he suppresses this ability with jayce on multiple occasions because he's trying to argue his "point" with jayce rather than turn him outright.

jayce was exposed to a ton of arcane radiation in the fallout AU so his days were numbered even without mage viktor fusing the acceleration rune into his wrist. he has. days, maybe weeks.

headcanon: the arcane herald is releasing massive amounts of magical radiation at all times and shouldn't even be /looked at/ much less touched. it's a core in meltdown, the elephant's foot, it's giving off lethal doses even without the anomaly/AS and it WILL kill everyone around it just by existing

sorry for the lack of activity. i got back from a weeks long work trip, caught my partner's flu, and started playing rimworld again. the latter of which is considerably more damaging to my art output than the others.
