No matter where you fall on the TikTok ban, the President undoing by “executive order” a law passed by Congress and upheld unanimously by the Supreme Court is an unconstitutional abuse of power.

Calling it right now- Trump saved TikTok so that a right wing billionaire can buy it and give it the Twitter treatment.

Let's put this TikTok thing into perspective:

Currently there are no major communications platforms (print, cable news, and now social media) not under control by the far right.

Just terrifying that this totally inexperienced and capricious opportunist, in thrall to a mash up of extremist ideologies, the most coherent of which is savage misogyny, is about to be one skipped beat of an obese elderly man’s heart away from the presidency.
From Hillbilly Elegy to the White House.

It’s wild when you think about it.

And while many Democrats were skeptical of his book (some weren’t), I don’t think anyone would have predicted this back in 2016.

Trump "saved" TikTok in the same way an arsonist "saves" a house he set on fire by throwing a glass of water on the flames.

Explaining in Five Paragraphs the Scam Donald Trump Just Pulled on 150 Million American TikTok Users
Make no mistake, one of the most popular apps in the world was just down in the U.S. for 14 hours because Donald Trump ordered that it be taken down. Why? So he could be seen as a hero in “saving” it.

Enraging. Who ARE these people????

Democrats have voted for all disaster aid for every state including her own! President Biden approved every request. Are they stupid or are they liars? Or both?
Rep. Claudia Tenney says there should be conditions on federal disaster relief to the "Marxist regime" in California and adds, "California is a disaster. Those same people weren't concerned about the people in North Carolina or the people in Florida who we've tried to help."

Gotta ask…

“Have any of the ‘California should only get aid if they change their behavior’ Republicans explained why the aid California so generously gives to red states—when they’re in need—shouldn’t come with the same conditions?”

COLLINS: How's the bad behavior of a senator a defense of someone who wants to run the Pentagon?

MULLIN: It's not. What I was trying to get to is if you're capable of doing your job and you're able to still drink on the job or late in the evening, don't tell me that Pete can't

There are so many reasons not to want the glib, superficial Pete Hegseth running our military, but his habit of calling soldiers "warfighters" and saying the Department of Defenses's mission is "war fighting" means he doesn't fully understand why American has a DEFENSE, not an OFFENSE, department.
Pete Hegseth: "Our leftwing media in America today sadly doesn't care about the truth."
