That's me. I've been uninsured most of my adult life. I love working for small businesses, but they typically can't offer premium discounts due to tight margins. I make too much for Medicaid, but any ACA plan would put me $$ DEEP in the hole every month. My only options are cash clinics or the ER.
What the republicans really want is for hospitals to refuse ER care to people without insurance. They don't care that most of those people are american citizens who make too much money to get medicaid, but not enough to buy their own insurance.

Establishment Democrats would rather endorse Cuomo, a centrist, boomer sex pest suspected of campaign fraud, than candidates with ideas that might actually help New Yorkers.
But that's hardly surprising after watching them trot out the Clintons at the '24 convention.

It is actually nuts that even when the NYC political establishment was presented with a broad field of talented candidates w/ many ideas, in a time of generational change & anti-corruption, they STILL chose to line up behind scandal-ridden Andrew Cuomo.
