This is the moment Belgian politician and member of the Flemish Parliament, Jos D'Haese, slammed Israel’s ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, Idit Rosenzweig-Abu, over the war on Gaza.

The Gaza Health Ministry has released an updated list of the more than 55k people *confirmed* to have been killed by Israel.

The first 21 pages are the names of dead babies.

More than 17k of those listed are children.

With the world’s attention on the Iran-Israel-US conflict, Israeli forces are killing dozens of people in Gaza on a daily basis, while ambulance services have halted due to a fuel shortage.

I’ve read several stories in major newspapers about the outrageous attack by Iran on a hospital in Israel. Not one of them mentioned Israel’s missile strikes on hospitals in Gaza. Nothing justifies these attacks by either country. Nothing. But when reporting Israeli outrage, context matters.

Journalists and scholars jumping in line to explain to me why evidence isn’t actually needed to accuse Palestinians of mass rape as a tool of war and that Israeli propaganda should definitely be believed and taken as fact not only at face value but also despite being debunked.

In less than a week, Israel killed in Gaza: a mayor, municipal officials, the north’s last orthopedic doctor, a judge in Gaza city’s court of appeals, journalists, and first responders on their way to rescue civilians who were killed and injured as a result of an Israeli airstrike.

They do this *because* they are doctors. These images are produced to hurt our morale and feed their depravity, to say look what we can do. We can do it to their best and the world won’t stop us.
