Sitting in a theater in Wilmington to watch @izball.bsky.social’s movie D(e)ad, which I have all confidence will have been worth driving an hour and a half to see. Spent a beautiful day wandering around downtown and eating and drinking delicious things and perusing shops. Been a good day.

Life is a bunch of hot garbage, but I did get to tell 10 v excited 5th graders that we’re gonna play some D&D together, so that’s cool.
Also this is my favorite flavor of Pocky, hands down, and I’m so stoked it’s back at Five Below.

I’m So Tired of all of the…everything. I’m normally a person who can push beyond it and keep on trucking but between the unabashed gerrymandering going on in NC, and the current wannabe dictator literally tearing down a whole wing of the White House…hopelessness is reeeaally seeping in, y’all. 🫠

Aaaand my assistant’s daughter is a student at UNCW, where apparently the campus is on lockdown after a guy with a rifle was arrested and other threats abound, all bc someone painted over a “free expression” (🙄) rock that had been painted in tribute to CK. I’m so tired.
