I suffer from Quantum Anxiety - my anxiety exists in every possible state of disaster and only becomes its 'true' form when the actual disaster is observed, causing my anxiety waveform to collapse.
I want a techbros to put my brain into a computer so we can finally reach new frontiers in anxious and depressed computers.

Well I actually voiced my frustration to the source of this frustration. Only took me ~40 years, and only brought up this specific frustration.

Digging through Wikipedia, I discovered the hockey team called Hockey Punks Vilnius. Their logo is AMAZING and I want a hat with that logo on it, or hell a jersey.

My experience in school was pretty shitty all around, not physical bullying as much as just... being constantly made fun of, mocked, etc for being the quiet nerd. I hated it.
So far my kids have had a much better school experience. I'm so glad of that

My experience as well. So far we're 2-for-2 on kids having a largely bullying/abuse-free middle school experience. Not without bumpy spots of course, but light years away from what I endured.
My hot take: the anti-bullying stuff has really worked, which is why conservatives are pushing back at it.

for what it’s worth I got roped into helping out with my sixth grader’s extracurricular thing so I’ve had more recent contact with middle schoolers who aren’t mine than I usually do, and biased sample/biased reviewer/etc but my verdict is that the kids are all right
