This is honestly one of my favorite things of the holiday season. I just love that the North American Aerospace Defense Command who normally spend their days doing things like monitoring threats and intercepting missiles take a day in the year doing this #NORAD

We're all wonders of nature composed of 13.8 billion year old stardust, and yet we've created (and somehow accepted) a society where we're just going to drown in paperwork and bs for the rest of our days

It's not in my nature to complain, so it's a really hard lesson to have to constantly grasp that only the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Like truly. So I am forced to be a squeaky wheel against my will.

Why does the world have to work like this? Why can't ppl/companies just do what they say they will?

I need validation from the faceless throngs of the interwebs for the fact that I've finally let myself be ok with putting things into the dishwasher pretty dirty (read: not spending a lot of extra time or water pre-washing) and trusting that it'll be clean.

And the dishwasher has not disappointed.

I'll insist on using the moka pot with the finely ground beans for our morning espresso but then I'll also just make some instant coffee for a second cup.

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.
