But isn’t this also partly the result of good/great home theater systems being so affordable? I remember how in the 90’s, a “large screen TV” was impressive. Now it seems they’re commonplace. So the theater experience is no longer that much better than home

Trump & Co. is already shutting down the government on their own and Congressional Republicans are giving him the power to do that. The necessary move for Dems is to shut down the government to force Trump and his allies to listen to Democratic voices.

It's impossible to explain how radicalized I've been in the past month. There's no reason to vote for a Democrat as the lesser of two evils (something I've accepted as flawed but rational for a long time!) if they're just going to rubber stamp fascism.

Every hyperscaler now has an LLM that's less efficient and more expensive and horribly unprofitable versus Deepseek's open source model which can now be adopted and turned into a competitor to GPT4 or o1 except it's cheaper and you know more about how it works. Maybe it's fine? But how?
