Due process is the fundament of our Constitution - full stop. It’s enshrinement in the Bill of Rights guarantees everyone a day in court. To ignore this is to ignore our most basic principles of freedom and liberty.

“The Death and Life of Superman” by Roger Stern adapts many 1990’s DC comics storylines. Attempting to capture decades of Superman history in one novel, this confusing and sometimes offensive book can’t be saved by Roger’s punchy action writing. 2.5/5, would rec to desperate Superman fans. 💙📚

Mon-El is the absolute hero of the New Kandor run. His final scene in that arc is a masterpiece. One of my lowkey fave heroes. Happy late birthday!
According to the 1976 Super DC Calendar today is the birthday of Mon-El of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Ink and acrylic ink on 11" x 16.5" Arches cold press watercolor paper.

Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Can animals understand human language?
There are many famous examples of animals who seem to understand human language. But is there any real science behind them?

“Batman Begins” is a novelization of the first movie made by Christopher Nolan. This book is surprisingly well written, but it isn’t that surprising, once you learn it’s written by comic legend Denny O’Neil. 4.25/5, this book is a wonderful, action-packed addition to the Batman Nolan movie.

“Great Expectations” by Charles Dickens is about wealth and character. Following the raise in class of the orphaned Pip, Dickens writes a fun and somewhat rambling tale about what makes someone good. 3.75/5, a wonderful and light 19th century novel

Fun but a sloggish read! 💙📚

98% of NIH grants that should have gone out this month, didn't. Despite court orders 'unfreezing' the funds, they are frozen. Biomedical research will grind to a halt. Clinical trials will end. All for no reason: the total impact on the US budget is miniscule

So depressing to be in science right now :(

Everyone is so stressed and worried they’ll get fired. Where do you go if your entire field gets eliminated? Just horrible.

Trump’s latest NIH change is catastrophic to science. I’m not sure how else to put it.

Science in the US will die if these changes to into effect.
