Absolutely cannot wait to bust down the doors for a drink made by a company whose unionized workers are on strike in a store that doesn’t want to hire minorities anymore.
Beginning Monday, a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate drink will be available exclusively at Starbucks cafés inside Target stores.

The chains are hoping the drink can drum up excitement from customers this holiday season.

Could argue the misogyny Summers expressed both publicly while president of Harvard and in emails to Epstein says more about the culture at our most elite institutions than any of the frontpage freakouts over academia in the past few years but hey

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Who needs to nuke the filibuster when you've got 8 of your closest Democratic friends ready to cave on ending the shutdown? Republicans get to keep their filibuster to kill all future worker friendly legislation, and get to take credit for reopening the government. What an inept party the Dems are.

Amazing to wake up on a Monday to see the Democrats cave late Sunday night on the shutdown, putting 8 senators not up for reelection in 2026 on the front lines. Total cowards, this party is broken beyond belief.

He's a special little snowflake
Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.

Use of the notwithstanding clause has disproportionately fallen against unions and collective bargaining rights. Feels fundamentally at odds with the Charter. Only a general strike will solve this.

It’s why I long ago cancelled my subscription to both publications.
Both NYT and WaPo took the same dishonest approach: skip how it was done without Congress or public feedback, skip how it's funded illegally with private money, then also dodge the merits of the Epstein ballroom itself by framing the issue around the strawman 'can the White House ever be renovated?'
I can’t believe there are not one but two articles, in major papers, with this dumb framing. It is not NIMBY to express dismay when a big part of the White House is suddenly rubbled
