Not to mention Mythbusters in our teens and 20s! I know the later seasons devolved into "how big an explosion can we make" but you can almost see a distinct line in society where mythbusters went off the air and people stopped believing in science

If you're famous enough and you die your signed books become worth something. That said at worldcon I bought my husband a signed book by a super famous super dead guy and it was pricy but not as much as your average college textbook

I spent a lot of time chasing after aviation nerds in my late teens and early 20s, I had a type ok, but the thing is they'll never love us as much as they love airplanes, and to be honest I really can't blame them
