I revisited The Bootleg Series Vol. 2 and enjoyed its selection of outtakes and alternate versions from Bob Dylan's mid-60s-70s

Even if much of the material has since appeared in subsequent Bootleg collections.

My three-thread revisit starts here: bsky.app/profile/dyla...
The first volume of The Bootleg Series covers three remarkable years in Bob Dylan’s early career where he performed his songs solo.

The Bootleg Series Vol. 2 takes in the next decade where Dylan and his new musical allies explored an electrifying range of sounds. 🧵

Many North American cities spend more on transit expansion than cities in Europe and Asia, but get very little transit built because they are not efficient at building transit. Toronto, LA, Seattle, NY are probably the worst offenders.

This has been a pretty constant stream over the last few days which basically blows up the memes on here that only stupid Dems obey norms like the ‘senate parliamentarian’ and that senate Dems aren’t doing anything to stop the GOP agenda. So naturally it’s been completely and totally ignored
Wow. Fourth batch of Byrd droppings is out - Dem staff absolutely dominated the HSGAC fight

We won on reorg & bonuses for cost cutters ofc, but also on at-will, filing fees, and USPS green vehicles & infrastructure sales

Seriously, major praise to the D staff

David Souter is perhaps the most underrated, underappreciated Justice in modern US history.
A careful non-ideological moderate who cared sincerely about precedent and historical evidence. He wrote modestly, more light than heat.

Rest in prudence.
Justice David Hackett Souter has passed away at the age of 85.

As the technologies scales innovation and learning drive down prices.

Lower prices drives up adoption.

And so on.

How and when did Germans learn to dehumanize those with intellectual disabilities? Although it might be tempting to blame the Nazis, Dagmar Herzog goes

I agree with the premise but the majority of housing built in the below states is single-family, not townhomes and condos. In places like Florida and South Carolina, a huge chunk of it is geared at 55+. Blue states need to build housing for young people, but copying red state strategies would fail.
The complete failure of blue states to build housing is what's driving this

Simply allow for any type of housing to be built pretty much anywhere, and cut all the wait times

Just let housing get built en masse!

This will probably be a positive change for Lucasfilm, but it doesn't (at least immediately) resolve the problem of Disney handing jaw-dropping budgets and creative control over major Star Wars IPs to people who know nothing about Star Wars and have no clue what fans want to see.
