Trans men are men. Trans women are women. Nonbinary people are nonbinary.

I would caution people to stop relying on the Constitution as written to have any meaning other than what the people Trump put on the Supreme Court says it means.

"He can't do that" is not a useful response to the things he's going to do. The correct response is "Will the Court uphold that?"
Trump cannot abrogate birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment by way of executive order. That’s not how constitutional rights work.

When Trump profaned the oath of office for the second time, I was scooping shit and piss out of the catbox. This is also a metaphor, if you like.

Every time I read the local news and see a teacher who was awarded a $250 grant for her classroom, I understand that she spent hours of her own time applying for it. Writing it. Going through a submission process.

For $250. For her classroom…

‘Hollywood is just content now!’ Well then watch non-English-language stuff. Watch independent films. Watch stuff made for $10m max. Watch shorts. Watch guerrilla documentaries. Watch experimental filmmaking. Watch kooky animations. It’s still film if it wasn’t made in California for $100m.

ADHD meds did absolutely nothing to make me more "normal", but they did give me at-will access to locking in for tasks, as opposed to having the lock-in trigger randomly for the wrong tasks

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.

I love that now I'm seeing at least ten posts every day about supporting your local libraries, getting a library card if you don't already, and all that good stuff. They really are great, everyone!
