Khimera: Puzzle Island ($2.49) - the best picross game you've never played. has a great, groovy, funky soundtrack too that's a sure hit for fans of Sonic CD.

New on the Ponett Gazette: I reviewed Metroid Prime 4: Beyond! It's a very flawed game that clearly went through development hell, but ultimately I think it ended up being a *mostly* faithful and enjoyable new entry in the series. Mostly. ponett.dog/blog/mp4

"wow i didn't even know [game] came out" i mean. this is why devs always tell you to wishlist everything. if you hear about an upcoming game you're interested in, just wishlist it. then you'll know when it's out, instead of leaving it to chance whether or not you hear about it on social media

There's the "I want shorter games worse graphics not kidding etc etc" phrase, how about "I want artists to be able to make mistakes and make weird unappealing shit sometimes and not starve"

Perfect screenshot. Worf as a focal point is already killer, then your eyes travel to Data in the friar haircut and you think "this can't possibly get any better," and then there's the finishing blow of Geordi in his space visor plucking a lute

Honestly, the most interesting part of Federation Force is the space pirates canonically have a Giantess Fetish Beam that they blast at Samus to make her large— and yet I’ve seen no fanart capitalize on this. Just all around disappointing. #BringBackTheGiantessBeamInPrime4

As much as I love buff badass lesbian Samus, I also really love the version of her from that one Super Metroid gag manga where she's this weirdo obsessed with round objects and hiding in small spaces

It gets exhausting watching people race to find the worst takes from the most hateful people about things they ostensibly like. I want to see your genuine feelings about something, don't hide your excitement or disappointment behind screenshots of the most obnoxious bigot you could find crashing out
I don't know, man. I'm broadly out of touch with considering the "fanbase" of anything when evaluating a work anymore. I'm sure you can find a collective of fans for anything who are annoying or awful, but they're not in the room with me and I'm not going to go looking for them.
