this recipe kept me alive during college
INGREDIENTS * potato * soy sauce * sugar (white or brown, whatever you have) * cooking oil * egg or tofu (optional) * sriracha or sambal oelek or gochu jang (optional) INSTRUCTIONS 1. wash the potato 2. cut the potato into small cubes, like the same size of the tip of your finger 3. optional step for tofu: cube the tofu up too and throw that in with the potatoes 4. get some cooking oil hot in a frying pan, throw the potatoes in there 5. cook the potatoes so they’re browned on all sides and soft all the way through. it’s best if you keep the heat on low so they don’t get burned on the outside 6. put like 2 Tbsp soy sauce and 1 Tbsp of sugar in the pan and stir it around to coat the potatoes in the glaze you just created. you can add more soy sauce and sugar depending on your preference 7. if you like it spicy add the sriracha or sambal or gochu jang or whatever you like 8. optionally fry an egg or scramble one around with the potatoes for extra protein 9. enjoy!!

i'm so good at coming up with easy pasta recipes
Ricotta, sausage, mushroom pasta Ingredients * ~ 1 cup Ricotta cheese * 1lb Italian sausage * 8oz mushrooms * 1lb dry pasta (penne or other shape) * Shallot * 2oz Freshly grated Pecorino Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano * Olive oil * Black pepper * Red pepper flakes (optional) 1. Set a pot of water on the stove to boil, add salt. Cook the pasta following package directions. Make sure you reserve pasta water * Tip: You want the water to be about an inch above the top of the pasta after you put it in the water. This way the pasta water is more concentrated for the sauce 2. Slice the shallot, tear the mushrooms into bite size chunks with your hands 3. Preheat a high walled frying pan or a dutch oven over medium heat, then add olive oil 4. Begin browning the Italian sausage and when it’s about halfway cooked, push it to the edges and add the mushrooms and shallots in the middle of the pan. Stir the mushrooms/shallots around to coat them in the fat from the sausage 5. When the sausage is cooked through and mushrooms and shallots are browned, use a slotted spoon to move the cooked pasta into the pan with the mushroom/sausage mixture 6. Turn off the heat, add ricotta cheese, pecorino, and 8oz of reserved pasta water and stir quickly to coat. Adding more pasta water as needed to thin out the sauce to the desired consistency 7. Add freshly ground black pepper and taste for saltiness/seasoning. If your pasta water was properly salted, it shouldn’t need much salt.

i finally dialed in my dough recipe and now my pizzas are actually circles
sausage and mushroom pizza, it’s missing a slice but it’s clear that it would be a circle white pizza with red onions, rosemary, pistachios, and pecorino romano. the edge is slightly burnt
