This is why NBC created the show The Apprentice. I knew something was very wrong around twenty years not long after graduating from UVA where I served on the student government but couldn’t get a job in politics or government. No I was expected to be impressed with stupid reality TV bullshit.
When the history of this conditional crisis is written, it should be reflected that the best training ground for flouting laws and reneging on obligations was being an American CEO. The voters got their wish. These guys are running the country like a business.

I studied government and politics at UVA. I am a friend of Professor Larry Sabato. I got a law degree from WVU. I voted for Kerry, Obama, Clinton, Biden, and Harris. I watch football because it’s a distraction and the Dem party doesn’t appreciate my help. They treat me like a Trump voter.
What worries me is that most Americans will simply ignore what is being done in Washington over the next couple of years. They'll turn on the football game, watch an episode of the Real Housewives of Someplace, and ignore it as fundamental freedoms and crucial institutions are carved away.
