At a time when we already spend more on the military than the next nine nations combined…

At a time when everyone knows there is massive waste and fraud in the Pentagon…

Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill increases defense spending by $150 billion.

Outrageous.

My colleagues across the aisle just called our fight to protect Social Security “garbage.” I’m sorry—WHAT!?!?

Seniors, veterans, children, & people with disabilities are not “garbage.”

We don’t work for billionaires. We work for the people. And, we will continue to fight like hell for them.

If you're breaking the law, lining your own pockets, and calling it "public service" — the Amendment I introduced in the Oversight Committee has your name on it.

No more taxpayer-funded grift. Not for Trump. Not for Elon. Not for anyone.

The GOP once again blocked it.

Hopefully, this sort of resistance will spread. If not, we're screwed. The courts — now that Republicans in Congress have rolled over for Trump — are the only thing that can stop him...

We need the best educated workforce in the world.

We need the best teachers in the world.

We need to pay our teachers fairly for the important work they do.

No teacher in America should begin at less than $60,000 a year.

This is what a rigged economy looks like:

In the 1970s, CEOs made 27 times more than the average worker.

In the 1980s, CEOs made 48 times more than the average worker.

This decade, CEOs are making 354 times more than the average worker.

That has got to change.

This country is becoming unrecognizable. What we’re seeing is state-funded fear. We’ve warned people: keep filming, go live on social media so these moments are documented and shared. This wasn’t a case involving masked ICE agents—but that’s happening too.
