I recall someone saying on the news that clearly Maduro couldn't be heading to New York in a battleship for trial. Even though that's what they said would happen and is happening.

Honestly it reminds me a bit of the ease and frequency with which people joke about certain other tragedies - e.g. 9/11 - though but it feels more shocking because Epstein's crimes came to light even more recently and because a lot of those likely complicit in his crimes are still free and in power.
