I want to extend a thank you to my governor for doing what he can to keep us safe. I feel like Newsom is perhaps the only governor who is effectively shielding his constituents from many (though obviously not all) of the effects of Trump's harmful policies. Also, his social media game is 1st-rate.
With 16 Fire Hawk helicopters now in operation at @calfire.bsky.social, California continues to grow the largest aerial civilian firefighting fleet in the world.

With the Trump Administration defunding federal firefighting efforts, we're continuing to step up to protect Californians.

It's unclear if jaguarundis are actually back in Texas, but if they are, they would probably be safer crossing the border back into Mexico. Between the rabid hunting culture and the defunded wildlife agencies, Texas is not a safe place for them. 🐈‍⬛ #wildlife #ecology #biology #cats

Fortunately, the eagles have returned to the nest. However, there was no guarantee of that, & the officials that greenlit the show knew that... residents of the community made it clear. Yet, in spite of representing ecologically-minded folks in an ecologically sensitive area, the show happened. 🦅
