I like stories that end with the castle crumbling down and the sunlight shining through, or the characters fly away into the horizon.

I've worked on an anthology, written a comic book, and many short stories. Now I just need to get something published.

there was a time when fantasy storytelling was accompanied by imagery that allowed you to imagine this was all real

and an unfortunate number of people just want to go with like GIGANTIC PAULDRONS and SKULLS and SPIKES EVERYWHERE and RULE OF COOL and that's not what Dio's shit's about

here's what I'm talking about. it's very different. it's from a world that's being envisioned by people influenced by fairy tales and tolkien and painters as much as anything. everything has this sense of physicality and being lived in. also lots of smoke machines

It’s wild rewatching the live action One Piece how much Koby and his relationship with Luffy in the first episode is just this, genderflipped

I hate this type of meme so much because it's always "damn it's a shame nobody makes this kind of game any more... no I will not scroll past the front page of steam to check"

One of the dumbest things about Harry Potter that ended up infecting a lot of other stories is the idea of the friends you make in school are the ones that follow you throughout your whole life.

hearing you talk about Windswept reminded me of it. I think I will be checking out Windswept in the interim. Thanks for all your platformer takes and keep up the good work!

it’s interesting because it wants to combine a collectathon with side-scrolling Klonoa-esque gameplay. But I didn’t finish it either, so that might be a bad sign. Either way I’m excited that it’s on your radar, I was disappointed back when it released there was so little discussion about it
