Geriatric fcbd®️ tribal belly dancer and former morris dancer. Hand drum fan (especially frame drums), and very mediocre melodeon player.
Based at the top end of Northumberland, UK.
If I remember correctly, there are now fewer through trains calling at Berwick-upon-Tweed, and therefore a lot more changes involved on the route.

Ahhh...the left hand lion!
It's been nearly 45 years since I left the area, but I know it well!

"Men may come, and men may go,
But I go on forever".
(I think that's the same poem...)

It was a series where she visited various places for celebration catering. I think she also went to Scotland for Hogmanay. Harewood was for the Christmas episode. I also think one episode had her at an Indian wedding.

Didn't Mary Berry and the current Harewood chef recreate (a very much smaller) Christmas pie on one of her more recent series? It had decoration within the pastry sides as well.
I believe this smaller version is still made every year.

That's one of our Northumberland gins, made with juniper harvested on the hills.

Thanks. She's still showing no interest in food, and although I brought her downstairs from her hidey place not long ago, she's disappeared again. Seemed a bit brighter, though. I'm still hoping it's hairball related, although her upper abdomen was a bit tender...

I had a friend who used to show and judge Skye Terriers. Looks like one - or a good part one.
They're deceptively big dogs, and have a very flexible spine - originally bred for hunting badgers, and being able to turn round in a tunnel to escape if necessary.

Filmed in the area of Dumfries and Galloway where my daughter lives!

My mum always recited this poem:
The north wind doth blow and we shall have snow,
And what will the Robin do then, poor thing?
He'll sit in a barn and keep himself warm,
And hide his head under his wing, poor thing.

Not a hope in hades of me getting in, then!
Mind you, I have no desire to go as things stand.
