Each year my wonderful pal Rachel arranges Christmas gifts for Ireland's unhoused children.

As of last week, there are 14,996 ppl in emergency accommodation in Ireland, inc. 3,448 children.

It's a tiny thing to bring joy to them. If you can at all, please consider donating.

Shakespeare dug deep.

“I have of late—but wherefore
I know not—lost all my mirth… and indeed it goes so heavily with my disposition that this goodly frame, the earth, seems to
me a sterile promontory… “

Defenseless under the night
Our world in stupor lies;
Yet, dotted everywhere,
Ironic points of light
Flash out wherever the Just
Exchange their messages:
May I, composed like them
Of Eros and of dust,
Beleaguered by the same
Negation and despair,
Show an affirming flame.

Surely it is only a matter of time before every county board moves across. #GAA
I said it before. It shouldn't work. But the BBC GAA Social consistently out does itself. Colin Bell, Sambo McNaughton, Liam Hinphey, Kevin McElvanna, Niall Devlin, Niall Grimley...insightful, raw emotion and occasionally some GAA.

But it was all leading to this
