The military assault on Venezuela, the shooting of a woman by an ICE agent, the launch of the White House’s new revisionist website about January 6—these three events convey a powerful and unsettling message from Trump and his crew:

Violence is ours to use, at home and abroad, to get what we want.
The Trump doctrine: Violence is us
The message is clear—be afraid.

Who's going to organise the Adelaide anti-racism festival? Hold it next door and at the same time and it'll have double the attendance of this celebration of bigotry
I stand with Randa and everyone standing against hate, genocide, oppression and terror. In all its forms.

Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

PM Albanese is a stooge to the violent pedophilic fascists in the US and Israel.

Saying things like "we've always been concerned about human rights and democracy" as the Empire flattens both is gaslighting and propaganda.

Australia needs a strong, moral leader. We have a toad.

Moulton: "When we had briefings on Venezuela, we asked, 'Are you going to invade the country?' We were told no. 'Do you plan to put troops on the ground?' We were told no. 'Do you intend regime change in VZ?' We were told no. So in a sense, we have been briefed, we've just been completely lied to"

It's not a coincidence or just the ramblings of an old, befuddled old man that Trump went directly from talking about Venezuela to ICE and National Guard deployments in US cities. Not one bit.

They "soft admit" attacking Venezuela to steal its oil. They're lying about caring about democracy. They're hiding how much distracting from Epstein has to do with this. They're lying about caring about drug trafficking. They're hiding how much Trump's vanity had to do with this.

A lot of the people who said Trump wasn’t going to start a war and that’s why we should vote for him are now gonna say it’s good Trump started a war because he did it in a manly strong way

I keep looking for legacy-media coverage of the Top 10 most fucked-up things about this Venezuela attack—Trump backing another authoritarian, lying about Machado, hitting cultural sites, lying about his local proxy agreeing to the role, having no post-strike plan—and it's minimal

One thing this invasion of Venezuela is gonna do is persuade countries like, oh, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brazil, and Argentina that they could need nukes after all. Iran will work harder. Egypt and KSA may well, too. And what about Canada and Mexico? Easy for the one; maybe harder for the other. Maybe.

probably a good time to remind everyone that Time Magazine did a deal with a prediction market scam
I feel like this got missed? Time Magazine (!!) is partnering with a gambling company to integrate instant betting on news events, such as the genocide in Gaza (!!!!!!)

The rate of collapse of media is absolutely blistering. Support your independent media outlets folks.....

"trolling" is still narrowly conceived as mere shitposts from anons in your replies, and not a capacious political strategy that includes conservative publicity stunts and the new york times' deliberately bad editorial frames

Ah yes, that's where a recently unemployed 24-year-old bricklayer, who spent years hanging around Australia's pro-IS network, and his 50-year-old migrant father were radicalised: university anti-genocide protests 🙄

Be fucking serious for a moment.
