• Your friendly reminder that Lord Mandelson is still a member of the Parliamentary Labour Party and retains the Labour Whip.

• Worth reflecting on all the MPs who lost the Labour Whip are were suspended from the Parliamentary Labour Party for voting against the 2 Child Cap.

And they never run the headline "oh, if we didn't build those windfarms, it would cost >4 tn building new coal plants".

I am getting increasingly infuriated at this general notion that everything is free, except evil climate policy, that is costly and the cause of the world's ills.

Do not pass this off as the ravings of a looney, old, narcissist. These false reports are going to be used to try and corrupt the 2026 elections by increasing White House Power over the vote. It could spark off the greatest crisis in the USA since the Civil War.

Konstantin Kisin: son of Vadim Kisin, who fled Russia after being accused of wholesale corruption. Vadim was the son-in-law of Viktor Chebrikov, head of the KGB in the 80s.

Konstantin, who claims the accusations were false, was privately educated in Britain. Wonder what attracted him to Reform UK?

I'm somewhat staggered* the UK government have walked into this one, given the EXACT SAME CHANGES were made in Scotland almost a decade ago, and we didn't have the same thing with LBTT...

* not actually staggered. The amount of cross-border policy learning in the UK is dismal.
New report: a serious unintended consequence of the Government’s tenancy reforms.
