Socially liberal, economically centrist, distrusts nationalism and monarchist anachronisms. Loves riding weird bicycles, ancient custom motorcycles, Dave the JRT and my wife (not necessarily in that order).
Listening to world leaders talk about Trump and his deal for Gaza they often point to his ‘particular style of diplomacy’. What they mean is he’s a bully.

The great deal maker only understands zero sum deals and this cease fire is unlikely to last as both parties were bullied into it.

It’s disappointing that we now use “illegal immigration” as a legitimate concern. UK law allows an asylum seeker to enter without legal paperwork. And they make up just 3%. We have always allowed a small number and nothing like other countries. But we processed them faster and allowed them to work.

I wonder what Trump will say when Putin inevitably asks for Alaska back 🤔

Well at least we no longer have to put up with US presidents claiming to be the leaders of the free world anymore!

Putin says Trump must go further before he’ll even agree to meet.

Putin is entirely in the driving seat. The US has alienated its own allies, given Russia nearly all of what it wanted, bought Putin’s warped view of reality, and can’t even guarantee a meeting. The art of the deal, indeed.

Many commentators say that vigilante groups are never the answer. But they clearly don't know about the masked Ecuadorian trio named “Acción Ortográfica Quito,” who roam the streets at night with a singular purpose: to correct all the spelling and grammar mistakes they find in graffiti.
