Since 1975, $79 trillion in wealth has been redistributed from the bottom 90% to the top 1% — a 1% that now owns more wealth than the bottom 93%.

We can respect innovation & entrepreneurship, but we cannot respect the extraordinary greed that now exists.

We need a wealth tax.

" I think is a very simple place, it was a kind natural instinct, a simple gut pull, which is a natural way to live life. So when the name change happened, it just didn't sit right. "

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

1/2 When we learned about different forms of government in school, the difference between just and unjust, good and evil, and history one thing was evident. When more sudden funding goes to a new governmental armed force after years of appeal for educational resources, something is off.

Canada, aka Trump’s “51st state,”holds an additional 10 percent.

Greed and inequity is an equal opportunity folly. Impermanence of all people & things including nations, ego, stories, desires, compassion, languages, inventions like governments - any form of polity is inevitable. So taught my 2nd wave feminist mom who also taught undying hope about all of them.
