Watching Star Trek Enterprise for the first time—doing a slow timeline order watch thru of all the Trek. Got to the episode “Unexpected.” Realized how far past this story culture has pushed the idea of consent in the past 20 years. Mildly heartening.

The tiny blue strip is how much writing I got done last week. I know we are still unpacking and de-stressing from the move, and we have company coming…..I was going to say why is it so hard to find time to write, but add in a knee injury and maybe I am being too hard on myself…?

But the world I wanted wasn’t the world I lived in, and if I would do nothing until I could repair every terrible thing at once, I would do nothing forever.
