Pleased to say S1 holds up well! The humor that felt too broad on a first watch balances better when marathoning the whole thing, and the dramatic aspects are more evident. Especially love the arc with Gurathin -- it pays off so satisfyingly.
I find myself with a powerful urge today to do nothing but rewatch the first season of Murderbot, and yes, I *do* see the meta in that statement.
