I love that former NYT public editor @sulliview.bsky.social is public-editing from the outside.

"With this made-up scandal, combined with the pre-election editorial, the Times looks like it’s on a crusade against Mamdani.

"And no lofty explanation about the mission can disguise it."

I think everyone knew the emperor was naked. They were too scared or too complicit to speak out.
Except that little child.

Am I connected to any... Or do any of you know any...speaker/booking agents in the UK/Europe?

Or, do you have experience of being signed to a particular agency?

Thanks

Public service announcement... please don't spray your perfume on a train...I get that not everyone realises this but some people (me, but I'm sure there are many of us) are extremely sensitive to smells and get an instant and excruciating headache with some perfumes. I've just been taken out!

Wow, what a unique & brilliant debut?!
Inkbound is a MG fantasy with a brilliant 'old world' magical atmosphere. The concept is original, the characters are vibrant & there are so many incredibly unique details. We family-read this weeks ago & are still talking about it ..

Is this going to become one of my all-time favourite series? ABSOLUTELY.

It has all the elements of a fantasy story (unknowing chosen one, fabulous world, hugely creative magical inventions, brilliant characters) alongside a very original idea - magic running on ink!

Listening to Brian Eno, Bette Adriaanse & Jon Alexander talk about why art matters when democracy is in crisis.

Love the idea that art is everything we do that we don't have to - we have to wear clothes, but personal style is art - Also love the definition that art makes feelings happen

Time for a bit of reality - a thread.

Sales in the shop are doing well, but we're reliant on sales on the website to help pay the bills.

The website is reliant on social media, particularly twitter.

Since September, we've seen a big decline in people seeing our tweets.

Denying refugees citizenship simply on the grounds that they arrived here “illegally” on small boats *when there are no legal routes* for most to use takes cynicism to new heights. If Govt thinks such performative cruelty will see off Reform, they’re wrong - it’s more likely to strengthen it
