It's just baffling to me that we're playing a system that requires one of your 3 CBs to be an integral contributor to attack. Instead of just, you know, buying a fucking world class midfielder to play a midfielders roll.l, in a normal ass system that uses midfielders?

We needed an attacking threat. It's logical to sub on a more attacking CB when you need a goal, in a system that plays 3 CBs, and requires one (or 2!) of them to be integral to attack.

It's such a strange thought process. We don't have a team that's good enough. Yet we seem to have enough young core talent that could be molded into something great. But is his system the system we should try and force that talent into?
