I’ve kind of teetered in that direction a few times but full ‘gerrim gone’ now. Can’t keep watching the same game play out with nothing being created and the onus to do so falling on one of the centre-backs, and that was the most egregious of the lot

I think the idea of Amorim is good, and made a certain sense, but the ongoing reality is someone insisting on a tactical experiment as teams walk through them.

Mbeumo’s started well and high hopes for Cunha too when he’s back but I will never understand spending £140m on attacking midfielders once it was clear Bruno was staying. Sort of squad building decision that will get the manager sacked but should really put others under the microscope
