This is completely insane and abhorrent.

People will suffer. People will die.
Women who get an abortion and anyone who helps them could face up to 30 years in prison under the bill.

It appears to ban any contraception that prevents a fertilized egg from implanting. That would ban IUDs and could strictly limit in-vitro fertilization.

Republican leadership in the General Assembly has failed to pass a budget, failed to pay our teachers and law enforcement what they deserve, and failed to fully fund Medicaid. And now they are failing the voters of North Carolina.

I really love Christmas music—carols, pop songs, all of it. 🎄

BUT . . .

. . . when radio stations start with it right after Halloween, I get tired of it by Christmas.

It doesn’t seem so special when it’s on daily for a couple of months. 😐

Wild how we went from nonprofit health insurance to $25 billion in profits — all off our pain. Republicans flipped the law in ’73, and now we pay the price every time we go to the doctor.

Work that cannot be done by any machine however smart and expensive and won’t be done by choice by most humans. Physically punishing work that takes a toll on the body. Enjoy your salad.🥗
Farm workers in King City are harvesting lettuce going as fast as possible so they can finish before the rain begins. A strong rain could physically damage the plants and also increase food safety risks. To harvest rapidly, workers are bending down and barely stand up. #WeFeedYou
