It feels bad to say but like... just getting a "hi, how are you" from my mom can really make me spiral. I'm reminded that, whatever I'm doing, it's not enough, I'm not doing the right things, I haven't done enough... all she said was hi but my brain is filling in the rest of the conversation.

I can believe that this person feels overwhelmed and frustrated, but they should share that with friends and therapists, not youtube comments. A comment like that feels like it’s fishing for sympathy or “thank you for being good <

This is a comment on a Jessie video I helped with. I hate self declared "allies" and their entitled asshat behaviour. We arent your fucking therapists and I don't wanna hear about how hard it is for you to hear about us being oppressed. Like actually this isnt about you and we dont need to hear it.
