Text that reads:
Ten strategies of successful suffrage theatre makers
1.	Create new work that is responsive and representative
2.	Collaborate with other artists and practitioners
3.	Accept and discuss differing views
4.	Represent and be the change you want to see
5.	Embrace versatility across styles, genres, venues, audiences
6.	Network nationally and internationally
7.	Dream and plan for future generations
8.	Share your work in non-theatre spaces
9. Recognise and use the talent, power, and privilege you have
10.	Have fun!

Wisdom, moral imagination, an enlarged sympathy for those who live or have lived differently from yourself. This is what you get from studying the Humanities. So quite important, actually.

feels like yet again time to mention that the *videogames* industry (that's a creative industry, which people do creative degrees in) brings in more than twice the amount to the British economy as the fishing and steel industries *combined*

I cannot understand what these people think the purpose of human life is?

It is *not* "pursue joy, deal justly, love well, try to understand as much and see as much of this beautiful world and of the deepness, richness and variety of human culture and experience as you can before you die"?

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

you want to celebrate British culture but you also call English a 'rip off' degree. for goodness sake. nothing these people say is credible.

A treat to see this brand new piece of work by @melhugsopera.bsky.social for the @teteateteopera.bsky.social Festival - it was funny, satirical, snappy, beautifully sung (of course) and passed the Bechdel Test with flying colours. Am excited to see what happens to it next! 😃👏👏👏

My latest research wheeze into Edwardian theatre history has turned up this terrifying beast and am not sure I want to carry on delving 🫣
A fantastical animal that has four legs, a long tail, massive ears, and a creepy scrunched up face. It appears to be hairless and is clinging to a tree branch with all four feet.

Have always wondered what it was like in the Rivoli Ballroom… this is one of the bars and it’s so beautiful in the main spaces. Sunday morning tiredness evaporated as soon as I walked in. Cannot wait to host a show here as Ada next week! 😍🥰😍

Walking through a town in Kent on my way to do a gig and all the England flags are making me feel a bit nervous about the crowd… but have started to pretend they are solely up for #WRWC2025 and that is helping 👍

No rapture so far. Had my hair cut and everything. Ah well. Been in the BL researching a weird theatre thing from 1905, and now off to meet chums and go to the theatre. Hope it all goes smoothly, sky fairy gang. #raptureday

8 days left to watch this extraordinary archival testimony from the likes of Quentin Bell, Duncan Grant, Leonard Woolf & Angelica Garnett. It really is a time capsule to another realm:
BBC Four - Omnibus, Virginia Woolf: A Night's Darkness, A Day's Sail
A celebration of the life and work of author Virginia Woolf.
