The only problem that would demonstrably be solved by introducing ID cards would be the problem of certain MPs (and Tony Blair) proposing them as a solution to every other societal problem.
there is no evidence that EU countries with a national ID system for their own citizens have less “off the books” employment.

Director David Lynch’s ashes were buried at the Hollywood Forever cemetery in Los Angeles, where Cinespia hosts movie screenings under the stars. His black grave marker bears his name with the dates 1946 - 2025, and the smell of a certain woody shrub he associated with the "golden age of Hollywood."

This is a v interesting article about how climate change affects renewable energy generation.

Erratic rainfall has sometimes reduced the energy produced by hydropower facilities, for example. Meanwhile, rising solar radiation is boosting solar panels' output.
