Square Enix has confirmed today that the classic JRPG Chrono Trigger, which first released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo system, has shifted over five million copies worldwide. The news comes as part of the franchise's long-awaited 30th anniversary celebrations. Square Enix has previously said that they are exploring new projects within the Chrono Trigger universe, which will be announced later this year. Source / Via
