Some researchers don't discuss their future research plans for fear of being scooped.

Not me. I drop bad ideas for unscrupulous people to 'steal'.

- What are the neural correlates of Open Science practices?
- What is the role of habits in learning a new skill through repetitive practice?

Never read a paper on that, but G*power calls that a "criterion power analysis". That may help with the search?

www.linkedin.com/posts/floren...

I am often told that public critique of published articles must also solve the issues found. I think this frequently enforced requirement hinders scientific self-correction.

It is unfortunate that we don't yet have the scientific studies to back this up 😁

To be fair, the statement is vague enough to virtually never be a problem. If your weak grip is caused by health problems, solving those health problems with the specific goal to improve your grip strength will improve your overall health

I think you meant 31st of July? 😃

Hahaha even if it was, it would have been relevant 😄

Yes, it is planned and ongoing! Hopefully, it will be on CRAN in a couple of weeks 🤞

I wrote a blogpost on something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: how metascientists could (and should) think more about their users when designing tools and reforms.

Would love to hear any thoughts on this topic!

Right after presenting an R package that virtually no one could install at the PYMS meeting, this feels right on point 😁. Nice post, and definitely agree

This is the best graph I've seen in a while 📊

Thanks to you too for the nice discussion! 😃
