I would’ve thought it’s a fairly standard bougie “foodie” interest, like being interested in sourdough or craft beer or cheese.

I’d expect a bunch of Dracos in Wales.

I saw a post that described the movement as “leaderless”, then corrected it to “leaderful”, which is a nice coinage.

Same, for a somewhat earlier childhood. Since then I’ve heard people say “in their skivvies” for “in their undergarments”, but I think that’s either a UK or US usage.

Whether it’s a ‘business decision’ to use wire service copypasta, austerity, incompetence, or top-down direction, the information ecosystem pollution is the same result.
