I think getting wider range of people on Bluesky is important, especially if in official roles (while also having ability to properly block abuse & detach pile ons).

Big problem with X is platform now seems to upvote anti-vaccine, racist extremes etc. in notifications/comments, even if unwanted.
I find the number of people saying they want to block her as a response to this genuinely baffling. You don't need to like her. She's the leader of the opposition. Even if you're absolutely convinced she's wrong about everything, why not listen to ideas you disagree with?

The X experience increasingly feels like opening the door and squeezing your way into a packed, deafening pub shortly before Christmas where everyone seems pretty drunk, in search of the friend you said you'd meet there, but there is no one recognisable.

This may not be widely known but one German regional state has been doing the equivalent of the ONS survey since early 2023

Approx 1% of the pop gets infected every week ie
/ Infections are 50-100x higher than cases
/ Very roughly, it means a reinfection every 1.5-2.5 year

Just completed a stressful vax clinic. Some people eligible for covid vax but are for flu. Why aren’t we vaxxing people under 65 with asthma who get it after colds but ARE vaccinating healthy carers etc? Green book says only asthma if two or more oral steroid treatments in 2 yrs - nuts 🤷🏻‍♀️
