Contaminated soils aren't just a problem for those living on them. Those soils erode, and as they do, heavy metals from them can be released to the atmosphere as dust, affecting a much wider region. 🧪

Consider it as a political message and political progression. When Francis was elected they told him while still in the chapel, "Remember the poor." He did. That was at the center. And I am no expert but I don't think he ever said something as explicit as this.
