But, but, but, the longer-term sick people just need a little support to get back into the workforce 🥺

If you want to know what it was really like working in the NHS during that pandemic, I wrote about Professor Kevin Fong’s moving testimony at the Covid inquiry here:
There is more to know than just what you can count
Powerful testimony from the covid inquiry on the limits of what data can convey.

Here we go…..Every innovation has a tipping point and then it’s lightening speed. Bluesky this is your moment 👏👏👏
This is really getting quite remarkable

• BlueSky user numbers have doubled in the past week and now total 3.5 million across US & UK 🚀

• Number of people deleting their X/Twitter account remains way up

And the next chart is particularly notable...

I’m getting tired of all of this narrative. You look after yourself when you’re looked after by others & when you’re not struggling with poverty, social isolation & discrimination. The state has a pivotal role in preparing the soil. Whether that’s NHS or beyond.

Astonishingly depressing but unfortunately very true 😔
"Let it rip"...

It really is quite amazing that 99% of the world ate this world class shit burger no questions asked.

And the precedent that it sets... The next mountain of dung that is unleashed, be prepared to swallow it whole, that is to say, to "let it rip", because "it's here to stay".

The elephant in the room keeps getting bigger 😔
Why can’t these kinds of articles ever mention the impacts of repeated COVID and Long COVID on people’s energy levels? Crushing fatigue is one of the main symptoms
‘The fatigue is not only real, it is absolutely legitimate’: why are so many of us so tired right now?
