I really can't stress how important it is for progressive and leftists to contend for school, library, water, etc etc boards. Hyper local involvement in our communities where we can actually influence lives.
Following the recent election, leadership will be changing in many districts where conservative values previously dominated school board meetings and community actions.

Forgot if I posted about my new paper now out in Social Cognition. This is part of my series on why it is important to disaggregate Asian Americans in research. We showed that South Asian men (particularly with facial hair) are hyper-masculinized relative to East Asian men.
