I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

All of this to be said, how in the hell is it only Wednesday. 😅
As a public health practitioner and research scientist, this week has been really, really hard to stomach. Never in my life did I expect science and public health to be attacked with such force.
